Happy Monday!
Wow, has this week flown by. I haven’t done as much writing as I would like due to being busy at work. There have been a lot of sick and injured horses coming into the hospital. It really zapped my energy and creativity. At the end of each day, all I wanted to do is sit on the couch with a glass (bottle) of wine with Tank.
In my writing life, my first draft of my sweet romance is being edited for content. Sometimes, I am working on it and it seems so good. Other times, it’s like oh no what is this! It’s hard to wait for the editor to get done with it. I have started the second story in my series, but only got once chapter done this week. It is going to be a second chance sweet romance. There will be a hot dangerous cowboy and fun loving strong heroine. I am so in love with these characters, even more than my first story
Besides working on my stories, I have been listening to The Writing Gals. They have lots of good tips and ideas for romance authors, really any author. I catch them on my lunch break, which is a nice break from the seriousness at work.
How has your writing week going? Who do you listen to, follow, or read for inspiration?
Writing slow burn Western Romances filled with adventure and of course happy endings!
